Clinic Updates due to COVID-19
Podiatry
Please see the following information from NHS FIFE regarding the Podiatry service during COVID-19
NHS Fife Podiatry Service are still operating, however, we are only providing treatment for patients who require critical care to reduce the risk of hospital admission. Only patients with ulceration and spreading infection are currently being seen.
Although we are reviewing all referrals made to our service, you may not be offered an assessment at this time.
Podiatrists are available to offer advice and education via telephone or video consultations to support you if you are being impacted by your condition.
When we are able to reopen some clinics, it is likely to be at a much reduced capacity due to social distancing guidelines and additional infection control procedures. This is also likely to be for the most serious wounds and conditions.
